- Vendor/Merchant Profile: Mobile number, business name, address, GSTIN, and uploaded document proofs (GST certificate/payment proof screenshots).
- Transactional Data: Items, rates, customer phone numbers, sales estimates, purchase invoices, and ledger records saved in your isolated workspace directories.
- Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser settings, and local database cache parameters.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is strictly used for the following purposes:
- To verify your identity, process onboarding requests, and provision your database namespaces.
- To process local/cloud transaction syncs and calculate ledger outstanding balances.
- To run AI services (such as vision invoice scans and sales summaries) via Google Gemini API keys.
3. Data Isolation and Storage Security
We maintain strict security measures to protect your database files:
- Each tenant's data is isolated into private directories, secured with Apache directory boundaries and access token checks.
- We do not share, sell, or rent your business transaction records or customer phone list databases to third parties.
4. Payment Gateway Security
All online payment transactions (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, NetBanking) are securely processed via RBI-authorized payment aggregators (Cashfree Payments) adhering to PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance and 256-bit encryption. SMART POS ERP does not store or process sensitive card numbers, CVV, or banking PINs on its servers.
5. Cookies and Sessions
We use standard secure sessions and client-side storage solely to maintain your authentication state, prevent cross-site request forgery, and enforce POS counter preferences.
